In June 2021, the EDSSI project was presented at the 2021 EUNIS (European University Information Systems organisation) conference focused on “A New Era Of Digital Transformation – Challenges for Higher Education”.
The pre-conference workshop Everywhere and Nowhere: student mobility in the era of micro learning, digital credentials and blockchain, which took place on June 1st, offered the opportunity to provide updates regarding the EDSSI project.
Nikos Liolios, Erasmus+ Project Officer at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, EDSSI project coordinator, was pleased to introduce the scope, objectives as well as the positive implications of the European Digital Student Service Infrastructure. Indeed, the EDSSI will contribute to the future mobility ecosystem and ensure a single point of entry to all academic and non-academic services across Europe through simplified administration, faster processes and better mobility experience.
