About Berlin
Berlin, Germany´s capital, has been the stage for a lot of world history and not just the fall of the Berlin Wall. Despite its turbulent past during the 20th century, the city has since undergone reunification, with the Brandenburg Gate standing as a symbol of this. In addition to its historical significance, Berlin is also recognized for its thriving art scene and modern landmarks, including the eye-catching, gold-colored Berliner Philharmonie with its swooping roof, built in 1963.
