EDSSI L2

Components

EDSSI L2 enhances and expands the EU Student eCard core service platform through the creation of standards for interoperability and compatibility with a NFC-based eCard reader system. This particular component will allow students to use their local eCard in any European University and access the plethora of university services available.

Striving to make the digital workflows of the Erasmus+ program even more seamless, EDSSI L2 introduces new CEF building blocks in the infrastructure. The integration of the e-Signature CEF building block in the Online Learning Agreement will make it more secure to manage OLAs, especially when students and academics will be able to sign them with verified signatures in the system. Additionally, partners will test the application of eSignature on Housing contracts for mobile students and investigate the potential implementation of eArchive and eTranslate building blocks in the mobility management processes.

eCard Interoperability

A connected eCard system that will enable mobile students to use their home institution eCard at the host university.

Deployment of CEF building blocks and e-Services

Proof of concept on how to apply digital building blocks for the tools of Erasmus+ digital administration.

Enhance adoption by the community

Translating findings of EDSSI L2 to policy makers, Higher Education International Relations Officers, or Student Service Providers, ensuring they are accepted by the HE community.
