The EDSSI L2 consortium is organising a Stakeholders Forum next spring. Hosted by the European Council of Student Affairs (ECStA), the Forum will take place in Venice from the 9th until the 10th of March, 2023.
The Forum targets specifically technical staff and management working in university IT departments, mainly in the implementation and uptake of the digital processes of the Erasmus+, including identification and eSignature.
The event intends to present and get feedback on the main developments of the EDSSI Level 2 project: namely the eSignature and eArchive module for electronic administration of international processes and the eCard module to harmonise eCard systems of Universities in Europe.
Venue: Palazzo Badoer, Calle del Magazen, 2479/A, 30123 Venice, Italy
Target group: management and IT staff from university departments working in the digital administration of Erasmus+ processes.
Deadline for registration: February 28th, 2023
As this is a two day training event, a certificate of attendance will be issued upon request. (For Erasmus+ staff training or any other reasons.)
Participation in the Forum is free of charge but registration via the form below is compulsory and is done on a first-come, first-served basis.

Victoriano Girard from the University of Malaga, Peter Frech from Vienna University of Economics and Business and Tomas Molnar from Humboldt University of Berlin will present the currently most advanced eCard solutions in European Higher Education Institutions. This talk will showcase the different approaches to the eCard developed by the three institutions.

Mr. Ajank Uhle from ELATEC GmbH will discuss the technical capabilities of multipurpose NFC readers when using a smartphone as an emulation of a smart card.

Mr. Mikhail Strunkin from Google will provide insight into the integration of Google Wallet in higher education.
16:30 Digitized Card Pilot for European HEIs
Mr. Alexander Löchel from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich will provide an overview of the European Student Card Initiative’s ideas for an interoperable student card and discuss perspectives on implementing this idea as passes in smartphone OEM wallets. He will use the example of the efforts of the European University Alliance EUGLOH, which aims to build an inclusive inter-university campus of nine high-level European universities, enabling seamless mobility for students, staff, and professionals.

Stefan Listrom from the Swedish Research Council will provide a closer look at the use of eSignatures and plans for their implementation within the EDSSI and the Erasmus+ contexts. He will also facilitate a discussion on the types of eSignatures stakeholders are in need of or would like to see implemented.
10:00 eArchiving Building Block: Creating a Proof of concept for eArchive services
Ferran Abarca from the University of Barcelona will facilitate a discussion on the proof of concept of the CEF eArchiving Building block, from both the EDSSI and Erasmus+ perspectives.
